And to think we are complaining about a bully, a PR man and someone whose defining trait is that he isn't either of the first two.

Yes - democracy= mediocrity
And a professional political class who have little or no real world life experience.
Would raising the minimum age for entering parliament to say 40 mean we get politicians who have lived a little - or would they simply time serve on local and county councils?
