Sale Shopping

Up until today I'd been very good this year and not spent any money in the sales - and then I went and bought this (humans not included.):

Well the one I have at present belonged to my grandparents, is (probably) older then me and the seat cushions are finally starting to show their age so I decided the time had come to treat myself.
Now all I have to do is wait 13 weeks for it to be built and shipped from China.
All Ready (almost)

I think I'm just about sorted out now for my business trip/holiday. I've got my tickets (all told I'm going to be spending something like 24hrs airborne), hotel for Chicago, ESTA visa waver, travel insurance, company laptop (with DVD drive) and I've borrowed a large suitcase from my parents. All I need to do now is change some GBP into USD and pack. Oh, and I need a large tote bag so I can carry the laptop, book (I've borrowed Kim Stanley Robinson's Mars Trilogy from my Dad to reread) and DVD (I'm thinking season 2 of BSG should suffice) and various sundries onto the plane.

Nice sofa, but China, really.... tsk...
Have a good trip, say hi to L for me.
Believe me, I'd have gone for UK built if I'd found one that I felt comfortable in but I couldn't. Came close to doing so but this one just shaded it.
@Lori: I'm aiming to pack light... or as light as I can without freezing to death in Chicago!
